About the Role
As a Senior Real Estate Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, assisting with month-end close procedures, reconciling bank accounts, preparing sales tax returns, assisting with annual budget preparation, providing support for external audits, and participating in special projects as needed.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in General Ledger accounting.
- Experience in the Real Estate or Property Accounting industry.
- Yardi Accounting Software experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLookUps.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
