About the Role
As a Senior Resource Planning Analyst, you will perform bulk power system simulations, provide technical leadership, collaborate on resource adequacy studies, and communicate complex analyses to diverse stakeholders. You will also engage in regional and national committees and respond to data requests from regulatory organizations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, statistics, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in resource adequacy and reliability studies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Preferred:
- Graduate degree in engineering, science, statistics, or a related field.
- Expertise in probabilistic resource adequacy metrics and economic production cost modeling.
- Experience working within the ISONE/NEPOOL framework.
- Familiarity with NPCC, NERC, ISONE, and/or FERC reliability and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with knowledge of programming languages like Python, R, MATLAB, or SAS.
