- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (insurance designations are a plus).
- 3 to 7 years of commercial property underwriting experience.
- Strong underwriting discipline and self-motivated mindset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to assess risk exposures and natural hazards.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret risk and portfolio data.
- Experience in building and managing a profitable portfolio.
- Strong relationship-building and coaching abilities.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
