Summary
AXA XL is seeking a Senior Risk Consultant, Property Loss Control Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity, preferably located in the Southeast Region, with Houston or Dallas as preferred locations.
About the Role
As a Senior Risk Consultant, you will provide risk consulting services for large property loss control and natural hazards evaluation. Your responsibilities will include reviewing commercial property protection, conducting onsite assessments, analyzing building construction and fire protection features, and collaborating with specialized engineers to serve clients. You will also build credibility with clients and support both insured and non-insured clients in the Southeast Region, with anticipated travel of 20-25%.
About You
Required:
- Experience with large property sites.
- Working knowledge of flood and windstorm evaluation.
- Robust working knowledge of NFPA Codes, FM Data Sheets, and local requirements.
- Engineering or Science based undergraduate degree; Chemical Engineering preferred.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Robust working knowledge of fire protection or willingness to learn.
- Ability to apply industry experience to a broad range of customers and projects.
- Self-starter with effective time management skills.
