Summary
d-Matrix is seeking a Senior Runtime Software Engineer to join their team in Santa Clara, CA. The role involves developing and validating firmware/software for AI inference processors in a data center environment.
About the Role
As a Senior Runtime Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture and development of runtime firmware that executes on the system-on-chip’s multiple processors. Your tasks will include maximizing hardware utilization, minimizing communication bottlenecks, and ensuring efficient on-chip memory usage. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams, debug on FPGA platforms, and validate silicon and software performance.
About You
Required:
- BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering, or similar.
- Experience with multi-threaded C programming on multi-core CPUs running an RTOS.
- Understanding of synchronization methods for many-core architectures.
- Ability to interpret hardware data sheets and register definitions.
Preferred:
- Experience with Zephyr OS.
- Knowledge of bootloaders and Linux device drivers.
- Experience with FPGA-based development and system emulators.
- Skills in mathematical quantization and linear algebra.
