Eon.io is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The role involves acting as a technical partner to Account Executives, leading technical discovery, and tailoring solutions for enterprise customers in the cloud infrastructure sector.
About the Role
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with Account Executives to understand customer requirements, leading technical discovery and qualification, and demonstrating how Eon’s solutions address customer use cases. You will also educate customers on best practices, travel to customer sites for demos and workshops, and provide feedback to shape product development.
About You
Required:
- Significant experience in a pre-sales role (Sales Engineer/Field Engineer) working with enterprise customers on cloud infrastructure, storage, data protection, or adjacent platforms.
- Experience with one or more public cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP) technologies from a dev/ops perspective (e.g., networking, security, compute, IAM).
- Advanced technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and to design and present practical solution architectures.
Preferred:
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, including tailoring demos and articulating ROI/business cases to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent team working skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Readiness to work in a highly intense startup environment requiring extreme focus and a strong sense of ownership.
