About the Role
As the Senior Scientific Director, you will be responsible for leading the Convergence organization, developing strategies for analyzing large datasets, establishing relationships across R&D functions, and ensuring alignment with AbbVie's strategic priorities. You will also mentor junior scientists, drive technology builds for advanced analytics, and represent AbbVie as a key opinion leader in the industry.
About You
Required:
- PhD in scientific discipline with at least 14 years of relevant work experience; or Master's degree with at least 20 years; or Bachelor's degree with at least 22 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to innovate with a robust history of publication.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and advise discipline experts.
Preferred:
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to negotiate and reconcile interdisciplinary differences.
