About the Role
As a Senior Scientist in Assay Development, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing assays for antibody screening, executing antibody discovery workflows on the Beacon microfluidics platform, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance therapeutic programs. You will also present research findings and document work accurately using Electronic Lab Notebook systems.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry or a related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or academic setting.
- Hands-on experience in assay development with expertise on protein-based binding assays and cell-based binding and functional assays.
- In-depth knowledge on mAb, bi-specifics and multi-specifics as therapeutics.
- Working knowledge on microfluidics-based antibody discovery platform (ideally Beacon).
Preferred:
- Assay development experience on microfluidics-based antibody discovery platform.
- Flow cytometry expertise for single B cell sorting.
- Experience or knowledge on generation of right reagents/cell lines for assay development on Beacon platform.
