About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for programming, development, application support, and enhancement of the Controller's Property Tax System. You will work closely with users to develop technical solutions that meet business needs and comply with California laws. Your duties will include analyzing automation opportunities, coordinating system projects, and providing end-user training.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in system development, implementation, and support.
- Proficiency in JAVA, DB2, JQuery, AJAX, HTML, XML, CSS, and AngularJS.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience with IBM iSeries.
- Experience in the Websphere development environment.
- Familiarity with Help Desk and Ticketing Software (e.g., HelpSpot, JIRA).
