Jobot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python / Django) to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software for a groundbreaking SaaS Data Analytics platform for Healthcare Providers.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python/Django code. You will collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features, identify and correct bottlenecks, and fix bugs. Additionally, you will work with Node.js and Vue.js to create a seamless user experience, utilize AWS cloud services, and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, specifically with Python and Django.
- Proficiency in using Node.js and Vue.js.
- Experience with AWS and understanding of cloud architecture.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Ability to work in a team and independently when needed.
- A passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
