About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions across the full technology stack. Your tasks will include building application components, collaborating with business stakeholders, developing reusable code libraries, modernizing legacy systems, and supporting CI/CD practices. You will also participate in design reviews and mentor junior team members.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of hands-on professional software development experience using Java.
- Strong understanding of language features such as interfaces, generics, annotations, and closures.
- Practical knowledge of major open-source projects like Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with containers (Docker).
- Experience with message-driven and event-driven architectures using ActiveMQ and Kafka.
- Test-driven development experience (JUnit).
- Financial services industry experience.
