About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Identity team, you will architect robust, petabyte-scale systems and guide cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-impact feature delivery. Your responsibilities include building scalable, cloud-native data pipelines, integrating streaming technologies, collaborating with frontend teams to deliver reliable REST APIs, and championing engineering excellence through code quality and observability.
About You
Required:
- 4-8 years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on development in Python or Go.
- Proven track record in building large-scale, high-throughput data pipelines or similar distributed systems.
- Experience with event-driven systems and messaging platforms (e.g., Google Pub/Sub, Kafka).
- Hands-on experience with relational and distributed databases (PostGres, Google Spanner or similar).
- Cloud-native development proficiency (e.g., containerization, CI/CD pipelines, microservices).
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of SaaS and security operations.
- Experience with instrumentation, logging, and metrics pipelines using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Comfortable in agile environments focused on rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
