About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer for the Authorization team, you will write reliable, secure, and scalable code for Lithic's products, ensure high reliability for card payment authorization, own projects from planning to launch, engage in design discussions, lead system improvements, and participate in the on-call rotation. The team primarily uses Rust and is distributed across the US and Europe.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years experience shipping code and leading projects in fast-paced production environments.
- Experience in or desire to learn Rust.
- Strong distributed systems instincts and design skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and align diverse perspectives.
Preferred:
- Interest and experience in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Growth mindset and continuous desire to learn and improve.
- An interest in fintech and the payments space.
