SoFi is seeking a Senior Software Engineer Full-Stack to join their Member Growth engineering team in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on designing and building innovative, scalable software solutions to help members achieve financial independence through personalized financial tools and insights.
About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will lead development and testing of system components and services, participate in shaping technical architecture for member growth and marketing efficiency, translate product requirements into technical solutions, deliver highly available and scalable services, mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, generate new ideas, and collaborate closely with project leads, product managers, and developers throughout the product lifecycle.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience in a technical field.
- 5+ years programming experience with a modern tech stack and proven track record delivering production-grade applications.
- Full stack experience including React/Typescript and Kotlin/Java.
- Experience with Kubernetes and service-oriented or microservice architectures.
- Strong understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL and ORMs.
- Ability to drive projects from inception to completion with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Experience working collaboratively in coding environments, including code reviews and pull request management.
Preferred:
- Interest in personal finance.
- Experience with MarTech platforms such as marketing campaign orchestration and personalization.
- Experience managing personal investments or loans.
- Experience scaling highly available, mission-critical systems.
- Experience building data insight products.
