About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing secure, well-tested, and performant features for Dandy's products. You will collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain high quality in a fast-paced environment, advocate for product improvements, and solve technical problems. You will also craft code that adheres to internal standards and help identify and resolve technical debt.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a high growth startup environment.
- Ability to understand business functions and address challenges through the Engineering team.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and growth-oriented mindset.
- Effective communication skills to discuss complex technical problems and propose solutions.
- Experience with performance and optimization problems.
Preferred:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Time spent at a venture-backed startup during hyper-growth.
- Relentlessly positive attitude and a strong sense of humor.
