Summary
Soho Square Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in McLean, VA or Plano, TX. The role involves designing, building, and advocating for developer workspaces and tooling to ensure seamless developer onboarding and day-2 support.
About the Role
As a Senior Developer Workspace Engineer, you will contribute to the design, build, and advocacy of developer workspaces and tooling. Your responsibilities include developing tools in Python and Java, implementing CI/CD improvements, managing desktop provisioning, and integrating Generative AI capabilities into developer workflows. You will also partner with end-user collaboration suites to create seamless developer experiences and ensure compliance with audit and governance requirements.
About You
Required:
- Proven experience in Development and end-user technology.
- Strong development skills, particularly in Python and Java.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
Preferred:
- Understanding of container creation, usage and management.
- Familiarity with JavaScript.
- Experience with SCCM, VDI, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of cloud and on-prem networking concepts.
- Familiarity with audit and risk management practices.
