Summary
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Node.js + React for their LLM Platform team in Culver City, CA. The role focuses on building and enhancing core applications that support AI-driven solutions.
About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will develop and enhance React frontends and Node.js backends, create robust APIs, and architect scalable data systems. You will collaborate with machine learning experts to integrate LLM-powered services and ensure software quality through testing and CI/CD processes.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience with production web applications.
- Strong Node.js experience (e.g., Hapi.js, Express).
- 5+ years of modern React development (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Solid relational database experience (MySQL preferred), including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Commitment to code quality and testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
- Familiarity with Python and its libraries (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers) for machine learning or NLP.
- Experience with Sequelize or similar ORMs.
- Background working with ML teams or consuming machine learning model APIs.
- Insight into developing with Large Language Models (e.g., prompt engineering, context management, fine-tuning).
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, SageMaker) for AI workloads.
- Experience with large datasets, streaming, or vector embeddings.
- Building tools that improve team productivity for AI projects.
- Knowledge of RAG Architectures.
- Experience with AI/machine learning technologies.
