About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software for training simulation systems, including scenario development tools and system interfaces. You will lead software development efforts, mentor junior developers, and ensure successful software integration in complex environments.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Eight (8) years of software development experience with leadership responsibilities.
- Must meet DOD 8570 requirements for Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- SECRET clearance.
Preferred:
- Master's degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with government reporting requirements and CDRL deliverables.
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes.
