About the Role
About You
- 7-12+ years’ experience as a backend/software engineer.
- 5 years spent on large-scale data systems (ETLs, pipelines, queuing systems) in production.
- Strong in Python and AWS (or another major cloud provider).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, data quality, and observability.
- Experience from data-heavy companies (e.g. Square, Yelp, Zillow, Redfin, ZoomInfo, Apollo) or Series C+ startups.
- Geospatial experience is a bonus, but not required.
- High-bandwidth communicator, collaborative, and able to prioritise with founders.

- Compensation is top-of-market: up to $250K base plus 1-2% equity.
