About the Role
As a Senior Specialist, SOC Analyst Level II, you will be responsible for leading security event investigations, overseeing and mentoring junior analysts, collaborating with MDR Analysts on incident workflows, optimizing SOC technology, conducting threat hunting, and troubleshooting security monitoring tools. You will act with integrity and professionalism to uphold KPMG's work environment.
About You
Required:
- Minimum three years of recent technical experience in Information Security, System Administration, or Network Engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network security fundamentals, intrusion detection, incident detection/response, malware analysis, and SIEM concepts.
- Proven hands-on experience with scripting and programming languages, packet analysis tools, and common security platforms.
- Demonstrated communication, analytical, client-facing, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with IDS/IPS, firewalls, and incident response workflows.
- Ability to travel as required.
