About the Role
As a Senior Specialist, Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for employing Six Sigma and Lean concepts to reduce supplier DPPM and nonconformance rates. Your tasks will include training suppliers in quality methodologies, assessing potential new suppliers, and implementing Supplier Partnership concepts. You will analyze quality discrepancies, perform root cause evaluations, and execute Advanced Product Quality Planning elements. Additionally, you will implement Zero Defect Plans with critical suppliers and serve as the technical interface between suppliers and L3Harris.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with minimum 4 years of experience, or 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Secret US Security Clearance
Preferred:
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Working knowledge of PPAP implementation.
- Experience with Predictive Quality and problem-solving methodologies.
- Supplier Development and Engagement experience.
- Experience presenting to upper-level management.
- Knowledge of Lean Concepts and commodity management.
- Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100, and industry standards.
- Experience in data analytics and problem-solving methodologies.
