About the Role
As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will apply GAAP accounting principles to prepare financial reports, analyze financial performance, and support management with accurate financial insights. You will take ownership of key accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis, while also helping to refine and improve accounting systems and controls. This role offers the chance to work closely with leadership, contribute to process improvements, and potentially grow into a supervisory capacity as the organization continues to expand.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- 4+ years of GAAP accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- 35 years of month-end close experience
- Construction accounting experience
- Job costing experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- CPA designation
- Experience with QuickBooks
