About the Role
As a Senior Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for proactive patient profile reviews, discharge counseling, medication histories, and pharmacy consults. You will provide comprehensive pharmacy services, mentor pharmacy staff, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective medication management and safety.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for required credentials.
- Successful completion of an ASHP-accredited post-graduate year one (PGY1) residency training program or three years of relevant pharmacist experience.
- Texas Pharmacist license or eligibility for Texas Pharmacist license within 90 days.
- Pharmacist Preceptor Certification within 90 days.
- Intravenous certification within 90 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.
Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience precepting pharmacy students and/or residents.
