About the Role
As a Senior Structural Designer 1, you will supervise a team of designers, ensuring structural drawings are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes in the 3D model and may need to travel to client facilities to verify on-site conditions. The role requires adaptability to various technologies in power generation, mining, oil & gas, and renewables, including carbon capture technologies.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design.
- Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Tekla, Revit, SmartPlant 3D).
- Knowledge of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for foundation design.
- Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) manual for steel design.
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Preferred:
- Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology.
- CAD certificate if non-degreed.
- Experience with Bentley OpenBuildings Designer and Autodesk Navisworks.
