The role involves performing design and structural engineering services for residential and commercial land development projects.
About the Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead and direct engineering projects, ensuring quality control and assurance of work produced by staff. You will be responsible for business development, coordinating with internal departments, and serving as a senior technical consultant. Your tasks will include creating and analyzing engineering processes, overseeing project compliance with codes and regulations, and assisting in marketing the firm's capabilities to clients.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering required at the time of employment.
- Registered Professional Engineer.
- Ten or more (10+) years of engineering experience in the structural industry including project management and client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience with computer applications and design software such as STAAD, RISA 3D, EnerCalc, AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated experience with applicable structural codes.
Preferred:
- MS Degree in structural engineering.
- Experience with reading construction plans and shop drawings.
