About the Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead and direct engineering projects, ensuring quality control and assurance of work produced by staff. You will be responsible for business development, coordinating with internal departments, and serving as a senior technical consultant. Your tasks will include creating and analyzing engineering processes, overseeing project compliance with codes and regulations, and assisting in marketing the firm's capabilities to clients.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering required.
- Registered Professional Engineer.
- Ten or more years of engineering experience in the structural industry including project management and client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience with design software such as STAAD, RISA 3D, EnerCalc, AutoCAD.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in structural engineering.
- Experience with applicable structural codes.
- Experience reading construction plans and shop drawings.
