About the Role
As a Senior Surveyor I, you will lead and oversee field survey operations, plan and coordinate survey projects, interpret legal documents and engineering drawings, perform complex calculations, review survey data for compliance, collaborate with engineers and clients, mentor junior staff, and prepare survey reports.
About You
Required:
- Licensed Professional Surveyor in Ohio (or ability to obtain licensure).
- 5+ years of progressive surveying experience.
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of boundary, topographic, construction, and control surveys.
- Skilled in operating robotic total stations, RTK GPS, and data collectors with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software for drafting and data processing.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in field data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
