Summary
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Electronic Warfare RF Systems to join their team in Fort Wayne, IN. The role involves supporting the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge Electronic Warfare technology across multiple programs.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will analyze, develop, and implement engineering solutions for complex systems, assess customer architectural needs, create innovative solutions for signal processing design, and develop and execute test plans. You will also prepare and deliver technical presentations and maintain organized workflows to support team operations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience.
- Experience in RF system design, digital and analog signal processing, waveform and modulation analysis, and algorithm development.
- Knowledge of system architectures, including requirements derivation, allocation, traceability, and configuration management.
- Experience with developing system models, simulations, and analytical tools to evaluate and optimize system performance.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with RF jamming algorithms development and testing.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++, PathWave ADS, AMD Vivado, and/or PathWave EMPro.
- Experience in RF receiver/exciter product design and development in electronic warfare systems.
- Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools.
- Experience with DOORS for requirements management.
