As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will deploy new Windows and Linux servers, maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure, and provide day-to-day support for troubleshooting Linux/Windows cloud systems and servers. You will develop automations for building and patching servers, interact with product owners, and analyze recurring problems to initiate solutions. The role also involves performing best practice engineering support for a cloud environment, engaging in requirements gathering, researching and deploying security patches, and creating technical documentation.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in systems engineering.
Experience architecting, deploying, and operating solutions built on Azure.
Experience with DevOps principles and Automation Platforms such as Azure Functions and Ansible.
Strong scripting experience using PowerShell, BASH, and Python.
Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST.
Current IAT Level II or higher Certification such as Security+ or CISSP.
