Summary
DCS Corp is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in Fort Belvoir, VA. The role involves providing technical engineering services in support of critical programs and technologies for the U.S. Army.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will manage systems engineering activities, including requirements analyses, functional analyses, and design solutions formulation. You will apply system engineering principles to translate approved requirements into system performance parameters, develop and maintain technical documentation, and coordinate design activities with related programs. Additionally, you will evaluate system performance, initiate engineering change proposals, and mentor team members on Systems Engineering matters.
About You
Required:
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements.
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering or Systems Management and 20 years of relevant experience, or PhD in an Engineering Field and 15+ years of relevant experience.
- DOD Secret clearance.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience leading engineering efforts on assigned programs with minimal oversight.
- Knowledge of DOD policies on Systems Engineering, Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and IPT Management.
