Summary
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in Woburn, MA. The role involves supporting the Missile Defense Sensors department by defining radar system requirements and collaborating with software development teams.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will analyze radar system performance data, identify deficiencies, propose solutions, define and prototype new algorithms, and present plans and designs to peers and customers. You will provide subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure effective implementation of requirements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience in engineering or related technical discipline.
- Experience with Battle Management command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, Radar Systems or signal processing techniques.
- Experience with Matlab, C/C++, Java or DOORS.
- Strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related discipline.
