About the Role
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing federal and state corporate, individual, and partnership returns, conducting complex tax research, and providing leadership to junior accountants. You will also assist clients with tax planning and ensure compliance with tax laws while keeping up-to-date with changes in regulations.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Extensive knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
- In-depth knowledge of tax regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Experience with CCH and other tax preparation software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred:
- CPA or EA certification.
- Experience working with high net worth individuals and corporations.
- A commitment to continuous learning and development in a rapidly changing tax environment.
