About the Role
As a Senior Tax Attorney - Research, you will be the primary resource for advanced tax research and technical analysis. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth tax research across various tax matters, preparing authoritative technical memoranda, identifying emerging tax issues, and supporting complex planning initiatives. You will also develop internal tax research guides and maintain awareness of legislative developments that may affect client strategies.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 5 years of tax technical experience in a CPA firm or law firm.
- Strong background in tax research, analysis, and review of complex returns.
Preferred:
- Advanced proficiency with AI-supported legal/tax research tools.
- Excellent analytical writing skills and ability to distill complex issues.
- Ability to manage multiple research projects and meet deadlines.
