EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Tax Manager - Financial Services State and Local Tax (SALT & AWM) to join their team in Melville, NY. The role involves providing multistate consulting and compliance services, focusing on state and local tax issues.
About the Role
As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for technical reviews of partnership and corporate state and local tax returns, sales tax consulting, audit defense, and coordinating with clients and in-house tax professionals. You will also research state tax legislation and assist with various tax consulting projects.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
- 8+ years of experience in state taxation.
- Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis.
- CPA certification.
- Experience with tiered flow-through entities and investment vehicles.
Preferred:
- Financial Services and Asset Wealth Management client experience within SALT.
- Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
