About the Role
As a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will design, plan, and execute the installation of advanced traffic management systems (ATMS) and adaptive signal control technologies (ASCT). You will perform traffic operational analyses, provide technical oversight on projects, manage system requirements, and interface with various stakeholders. Additionally, you will support pre-sales technical efforts and mentor less experienced engineers.
About You
Required:
- Four-year college degree in Civil Engineering (Traffic Emphasis), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Five years of related experience, or an applicable master’s degree with three years of related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in traffic operations analysis with actual field experience.
- Experience in designing, analyzing, and installing traffic control systems.
Preferred:
- Experience with SynchroStudio.
- Working knowledge of traffic control devices (Controllers, Cabinets, etc.).
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to use personal computer software such as spreadsheets and word processing programs.
