WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager for their Power & Energy Management Team. The role involves managing technical, schedules, quality, and financial aspects of Power and Energy Transmission Line projects.
About the Role
As a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager, you will provide project management for the development, execution, management, control, and monitoring of high voltage and EHV Transmission Line projects. You will ensure adherence to project lifecycle responsibilities, develop client relationships, and lead project teams while maintaining quality standards. Your role will also involve strategic advice to clients, managing project resources, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field within the Power & Energy Market.
- 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility Industry.
- Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience working and/or providing engineering services for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading engineering and/or construction teams on medium to large electrical utility scale clients for high voltage and/or extra high voltage transmission line projects.
- Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools including Contract Management, Earned Value Management, Change Management, Risk Management, and Schedule Management.
- Advanced proficiency with analytical, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with CPM project schedules such as Primavera P6 or equivalent.
- Strong ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to meet project-specific needs.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to health, safety, and drug/alcohol policies.
