Rank One Computing Corporation (ROC) is seeking a Senior Vue.js Developer to join their team in Morgantown, WV. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using Vue.js.
About the Role
As a Senior Vue.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, troubleshooting and debugging, mentoring junior developers, and participating in agile development processes.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Extensive experience with Vue.js and its core principles.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Vuex.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with modern build tools and development workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm).
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Cypress).
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with other front-end frameworks and libraries, such as React or Angular.
- Knowledge of server-side rendering and static site generation.
- Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
