About the Role
As a Senior Weather Analyst/ML Researcher, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focusing on applied research. You will utilize your programming skills and expertise in atmospheric science to drive quantitative research using various data sources. Your work will challenge the limits of atmospheric predictability and require clear communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
About You
Required:
- Masters degree (minimum) in Atmospheric Science or related field.
- Strong programming skills with excellent Python skills for data analysis.
- Expertise in sub-seasonal predictability, data assimilation, numerical weather prediction, tropical variability, synoptic meteorology, and renewable energy forecasting.
- Experience using gridded data, observational data, and satellite data for quantitative research.
Preferred:
- Experience with AI models.
- Ability to think and communicate precisely and openly.
