About the Role
As a Senior Workers' Compensation Underwriter, you will be responsible for calculating and developing premium quotations, determining underwriting eligibility, analyzing prospective accounts, and managing agency relationships. You will also address concerns from agents and policyholders, develop new business, and participate in promotional plans. Additionally, you will conduct annual agency audits, provide training sessions, and serve as a technical expert for your region.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, insurance, or related field.
- A minimum of seven to ten years’ experience in an insurance organization with demonstrated technical knowledge in underwriting, marketing, or loss prevention.
- Workers’ Compensation experience required.
Preferred:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Management experience.
- Certification or progress toward certification in relevant fields.
