Summary
OCT Consulting LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Architect to join their team in McLean, VA. The role involves leading the design and delivery of AI-enabled, enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions for federal clients.
About the Role
As a ServiceNow Senior Architect, you will serve as the technical authority for ServiceNow solutions, focusing on federal business workflows. Your responsibilities include designing and overseeing custom applications, participating in strategic discussions, enforcing platform governance, and mentoring team members. You will also integrate ServiceNow with external systems and ensure that implementations are scalable and compliant.
About You
Required:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7 years of ServiceNow platform experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more domains
- Strong hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, workflows, scripting (JavaScript/Glide), and integrations
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and how they map to ServiceNow
- Deep integration experience (REST, SOAP, SSO, LDAP, API gateways, cloud platforms)
- Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, or other federal compliance frameworks
- Active Public Trust or Security Clearance eligibility
Preferred:
- 7+ years of ServiceNow experience, including multi-department or multi-instance architecture
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (or actively pursuing)
- Proven track record leading large-scale ServiceNow transformations for enterprise clients
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills — able to influence executives and guide long-term platform adoption
- Experience mentoring junior ServiceNow admins/developers
- Existing Secret or Top-Secret clearance
