As a Shelter Aide Per-Diem, you will help direct and assist clients in routine shelter activities such as meals, laundry, and housekeeping. You will respond to client and shelter emergencies, advocate for clients, and maintain shelter policies and procedures. This position is on-call and pays $17.50 per hour.
About You
Required:
- H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. with three (3) years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry clearance.
Preferred:
- Experience working with a specific population.
- Customer service skills.
- Oral and written communication skills.
