Project Renewal is seeking a Shift Supervisor to join their team at Clinton Residence in New York, NY. The role involves overseeing Front Desk/Case Aide staff and providing support for residents in a transitional treatment facility for mentally ill adults.
About the Role
As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities at the facility, ensuring adequate staff coverage, monitoring resident behavior, providing crisis intervention, and conducting training and inspections. You will also participate in clinical staff meetings and assist residents with daily living activities and community appointments.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a residential program serving individuals with mental illness and chemical addictions.
- Ability to work cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team.
- Good oral, written, and listening skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in crisis intervention and emergency response.
- Skills in training and mentoring entry-level staff.
