Summary
Certified Group is seeking a Shipping & Receiving 1 to join their team in Aurora, IL. The role involves entering data into the Certified Laboratories Information Management System (LIMS) and ensuring the accurate logging of customer samples.
About the Role
As a Shipping & Receiving 1, you will be responsible for logging customer samples into the LIMS system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in your work. You will maintain the sample receiving room, ensure samples are labeled and stored correctly, and participate in special projects as assigned. Additionally, you will interact with clients and suppliers, learn new techniques, and ensure compliance with ISO and QC requirements.
About You
Required:
- AS degree in Science or BS degree with appropriate industry-specific experience.
- Knowledge of good aseptic techniques to reduce cross-contamination.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in a laboratory setting with basic lab techniques.
- Critical thinking skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions.
- Good communication skills in speaking, reading, writing, and listening.
