Summary
F5 is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer I with AI Experience to join their team in the Greater Seattle Area. The role involves supporting, improving, and scaling an internal AI application while ensuring reliable operations for infrastructure and application solutions.
About the Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing high-quality services, coordinating with product and platform teams, and collaborating with internal teams to drive full observability and automation of the environment. You will also assist in the design and implementation of new technologies, ensure adherence to architecture standards, and facilitate collaboration between development and operations teams throughout the application lifecycle.
About You
Required:
- 1 to 3 years of overall experience as an SRE.
- Direct experience with AI applications support and deployment like Open AI.
- Awareness of deployment/integrations to various GPT models like GPT-4.x, O3, O4 models.
- 3 to 5 years of experience developing and implementing CI/CD automation, performance tuning, and scaling applications.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with open-source technologies and cloud services, preferably Azure.
- Hands-on development experience with one or more general purpose programming/scripting languages including Python, Shell, JavaScript, or Go.
- Infrastructure deployment experience using technologies such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with configuration management systems (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.).
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with containerized architectures – development and deployment.
- Excellent working knowledge of system environments – operating systems, networking, applications, platforms, and databases.
- Familiarity with common database technologies such as MS SQL Service, PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of development methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Scrum) across various technologies.
- Experience with continuous integration methodologies and tools such as GitLab.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work.
