Summary
USAA is seeking a mid-level SIU Investigator - Multi-Line (Desk) to join their team. This remote eligible position involves investigating potential fraudulent claims to protect USAA and its members.
About the Role
As a SIU Investigator, you will apply your knowledge of fraud schemes and investigation strategies to questionable claims. Your responsibilities include developing fraud prevention strategies, collecting evidence, preparing investigative reports, and maintaining relationships with law enforcement and industry contacts. You will also assist in fraud awareness training and ensure compliance with risk and compliance policies.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- 2+ years claims adjusting experience, or P&C SIU/Fraud Investigation experience OR 4+ years prior investigative law enforcement or relevant fraud industry investigation experience.
- Proven investigatory skills and experience obtaining statements from various parties.
- Ability to gather evidence and draw conclusions related to fraud.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workload.
Preferred:
- SIU experience conducting low to complex P&C fraud investigations.
- Strong background with multi-line SIU investigations.
- Designations such as CFE, CIFI, SCLA, ACLS, FCLS, LPCS, AIC, CPCU, CCLS, or other.
- US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
