Gregory Construction is seeking a Skilled Laborer for Heavy Civil Construction to join their team in various locations across the South East, South West, Mid Atlantic, or Mid West. The role involves supporting heavy civil and mission-critical projects such as data centers.
About the Role
As a Skilled Laborer, you will assist with site preparation, excavation, trenching, and backfilling. You will support crews with underground utility installation and concrete work, operate and maintain hand tools and small equipment safely, and ensure job sites are organized, clean, and safe. You will work as part of a team to meet project goals and deadlines.
About You
Required:
- Previous construction experience (pipe handling, grading, utilities, or concrete preferred).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic, teamwork, and commitment to safety.
Preferred:
- Experience on mission-critical or data center projects.
- Familiarity with basic grade checking and small equipment operation.
- OSHA 10/30 certification.
