INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Snowflake Data Architect to join their team in Houston, TX. The role involves designing and implementing a cloud data platform for executive dashboards across various business domains.
About the Role
As a Snowflake Data Architect, you will be responsible for developing the end-to-end data architecture for executive dashboards, integrating data from various sources, and ensuring data quality and security. You will collaborate with finance, operations, and commercial teams to define KPIs and translate business needs into technical solutions. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days a week and coordination with European teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics; 3+ years focused on modern cloud data warehousing.
- Hands-on expertise with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse including performance tuning, security, and cost optimization.
- Strong SQL skills and solid experience with ETL/ELT tools and pipeline orchestration.
- Demonstrated experience designing dimensional models for financial and operational reporting.
- Solid business understanding of financials and operational drivers.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse business stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience integrating data from SAP environments or similar ERP/financial planning systems.
- Experience supporting executive-level dashboards and scorecards.
- Familiarity with Power BI and enterprise data models.
- Experience with DevOps/CI-CD for data.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or similar asset-intensive industries.
