About You
- 2–3 years of experience in social media, preferably with a focus on music.
- Deep understanding of music culture, including hip-hop, R&B, and emerging artists.
- Strong familiarity with the Complex brand voice, particularly within Music.
- Excellent writing, editing, and headline instincts.
- Proven fluency across major social platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook).
- Comfortable working weeknights and occasional holidays.
- Strong instincts for what performs socially and a demonstrated ability to drive engagement.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and proactive.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, and/or CapCut.
