About the Role
As a Social Services Director I, you will be responsible for applying professional Social Service work practices, advocating for residents' rights, responding to behavioral and psychiatric issues, coordinating discharge plans, assisting with advance directives, resolving grievances, and completing psychosocial assessments. You will also coordinate family council meetings and ancillary appointments as necessary.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a Human Services field such as Sociology, Gerontology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology.
- Minimum of one year of supervised social work experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting working directly with patients.
- Previous supervisory experience.
Preferred:
- Master of Social Work (MSW).
