CBH Care is seeking a Social Services Specialist to join their team in Hackensack, NJ. The role involves providing daily supervision, supportive counseling, and assistance with consumers' daily living skills.
About the Role
As a Social Services Specialist, you will be responsible for observing consumers self-administer their prescribed medication, facilitating social, recreational, and therapeutic activities, and utilizing crisis intervention skills as required. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
About You
Required:
- BSW in social work, BA/BS in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or a related field.
- BA in an unrelated field with two years of previous experience.
- AA in a related field with two years of previous experience.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
